Overview of class
I found this class very easy and difficulties at times. There was a lot of assignments involved, and everyone said it was hard to keep up with them, but I found it easy of you hand them in on time. The only trouble I had was when we did the Vooks assignment, I felt like we needed more time and to maybe shorten the test. I also felt the civ game on the iPad was a little difficult to understand, and it was especially hard to answer the questions, maybe next time you could partner up to play the game. Other then that, all the assignments taught me a lot and weren't very difficult. I enjoyed this class this semester.

Blog 9- Thoughts on Rome RAFTS
Did you enjoy your topic? What did you learn about Rome? Other than your own whose RAFT did you like the best and why.
I thought the Rome Rafts were very interesting. I enjoyed learning about the foods that the Romans ate, and what ingredients they used. I learnt a lot about their breakfast, lunch and supper. As well as that they enjoy sauces a lot. I enjoy working with Johnna because we work together well and get the work done. I really liked Joanna's RAFT because it was very entertaining and they put a lot of work into it. I think they planned it out very good and had it well organized, if they would have made it shorter it would have been perfect. But they did a really good job.

• The internet began as a military tool, and arguably is one of the most superior inventions of our time, bringing whole nations together in mere nanoseconds.
• Very similar to the Americanization of today's world with McDonalds and Starbucks popping up in the most unlikely remote countries of the world
• It is possible to rule by having others do the work for you, something similar to using a television remote control.

Blog 7- evaluation.
When I do a assignment I always am interested in how I did on it and my grade that I got on it. Sometimes I go on home logic randomly to check my marks and see my overall percentage. Each night when I have my homework I try to finish it all so I can go hangout with friends without worrying about doing homework. I think it makes sense to take marks away when kids hand in their homework late, because you're suppose to finish it on a certain time. If no one had due dates or set times to hand in things, everyone would hand in assignments months later and wouldn't have any motivation to finish their homework.

Blog 6- Presentation by Athena's dad.
I thought the presentation was really interesting to listen to. It was really attention grabbing and fun to participate in. I liked his idea of bingo to get to know everyone, because it was active learning. I would enjoy if he came back.
Blog 5- How did the presentation go?
I thought our presentations went good, we had good transitions and it wasn't too serious. I had fun doing it with Johnna and we weren't nervous at all to be in front of the class. I don't think our presentation was too short, or too long, so we didn't bore the audience. I enjoyed all the presentations because it was interesting learning about all the civilizations. I learnt that you have to be prepared before you start presenting in order for it to turn out well.

Blog 4- Research Project
I found the research essay very easy going and smooth considering me and Johnna divided the sections up. At the beginning, it was overwhelming because there is only two people in our group but later on in the end it started flowing together better. I have too say the hardest part was finding all the information, and then rewording it into your own words. It was also frustrating having too make a bibliography and making sure too site all your information. I really enjoyed the google docs because it was a easy way to communicate with my partner, and we could put comments on making sure we both knew what we were doing. All in all, I think writing the essay was good experience and will benefit me later on in the years.
